The Final Turn - Limited Edition Print

This is one of my most popular prints! Growing up in Kildare, Ireland I was surrounded by horses and horseracing. When I was a teenager I used to love visiting the Curragh racecourse to see the stunning thoroughbred horses thundering around the track. It was such a thrill to stand in front of the railings and feel the vibrations of the horses as they galloped past the finishing line.
 
This painting is a limited reproduction of an original watercolour painting called 'The Final Turn'. In this painting I wanted to capture the energy and movement of the horses turning onto their second lap of the track so it's full of loose brushwork and energetic explosions of colour.
 
There are only 100 of these limited edition fine art prints in existence. Each print is signed, numbered and delivered with a certificate of authenticity from the Copperhouse Gallery in Dublin. Prints can be ordered framed or unframed. The unframed print is 12x16" and framed is 16x20". Framed prints are delivered in my signature off white frame with double off white mount under glass.
