Elsa - Original Watercolour (35"x29.5")

I adore painting dogs and I love Great Danes; they are such gentle giants. This is a painting of Elsa the Harlequin Great Dane. She has such a beautiful gentle expression so I painted her in soft tranquil blues. She has fabulous markings. Elsa is very special as she was one of the first pieces I drew when I got back into creating art a few years ago. The original black and white drawing of Elsa is on my Instagram page. This painting was completed in 2018 for the ‘New Breed’ exhibition in the Lighthouse Cinema Dublin in April 2018.
 
This original painting has been professionally framed by Appletons Picture Framers in Stillorgan Dublin. It is framed in my signature limed white wooden frame, with an off-white double mount under glass. The piece is 35”x29.5" in size. The photos attached feature the painting to scale in a living interiors to give you a sense of the dimensions.
 
I know that buying a piece of original artwork is a big investment and photographs of watercolour paintings rarely does them justice, so you are more than welcome to visit my studio in south Dublin to view the painting in real life before you purchase.
