I hope you are all well and getting ready for the spooky season! It's been a busy time here in the Dabble Studio and I've lots of news to share with you in the coming weeks.
Looking for Aidan Turner
I'm just back from a lovely week in Cornwall attending a fantastic acrylics course with Glyn Macy. Glyn paints landscapes and seascapes inspired by the stunning Cornwall coastline and his work is awesome. Glyn's 3 day Poldark painting course included outdoor painting trips to various iconic locations used as the filming backdrops for the Poldark TV Series. Although most of the ladies on the course were hoping to paint a scantly clad Aidan Turner emerging from the waves, we didn't manage to see Aidan, so we made do with the stunning scenery! We washed down each day with a few of the local Cornish ales, a strictly come dancing vote off and a late night 'ping pong et cups' drinking tournament - great fun!

Apart from that I've been really busy in the studio getting ready for the next big event - Art Source 2018! This is my second year exhibiting at Ireland's biggest art fair and its become one of the highlights of my year. I will be exhibiting over 30 original paintings featuring lots of animals as well as my new range of silk scarves.
