Polar Yoga - Original Watercolour (36"x29")

I love painting polar bears they are such stunning animals. I find it so upsetting to see their environment being eroded by pollution and global warming, its tragic. Don’t worry, this is a happy well fed polar bear doing the ‘downward dog’ on the snow. I loved his ‘I hate Mondays’ expression. I have a couple of images of polar bears in their unique stretching poses so I hope to paint a series of polar yoga bears. I really enjoy infusing areas that are supposed to be white, like the bears white fur, with lots of colour and washes.

This original painting has been professionally framed by Appletons Picture Framers in Stillorgan Dublin. It is framed in my signature limed white wooden frame, with an off-white double mount under glass. The piece is 36”x29" in size. The photos attached feature the painting to scale in a living interiors to give you a sense of the dimensions.
