Freddie - Original Watercolour (27.5"x24")

This is a painting of mohawk rocking cockerel. I frequently paint cockerels as they are full of personality. I love the textures of this guy and created the soft head feathers using lots of wet into wet washes to create defused soft colour. I called him ‘Freddie’ after Freddie Mercury from Queen as I reckon this guy is a bit of a showman.

This original painting has been professionally framed by Appletons Picture Framers in Stillorgan Dublin. It is framed in my signature limed white wooden frame, with an off-white double mount under glass. The piece is 27.5”x24" in size. The photos attached feature the painting to scale in a living interiors to give you a sense of the dimensions.
