For the longest time I’ve wanted to create a range of small packages that would offer you something really unique, timeless and luxurious. Something that makes you feel great and allows you to effortlessly add a happy pop of colour to your existing looks. I have always adored print and textiles and I love exploring new ways of making art more accessible and functional, so this year I wanted to create small packages of luxury that would allow my customers to own a piece of wearable art for under €100. 
 
Growing up in Kildare, I was always surrounded by animals, particularly horses. Their stunning beauty and strength has inspired many of my paintings. As a celebration of the horse in Irish culture, I have created a range of silk scarves featuring horse portraits printed in strong vibrant colours on 100% silk – combining tactile luxury with affordable art. 
 
As key ingredient in the recipe of style, the silk scarf is a lightweight, luxurious and incredibly versatile fashion accessory to enable every wearer to inject a new pop of colour into their existing wardrobe!
 
Three Designs
Choose of one of three prints featuring Gill’s original paintings of horses. These three designs feature horses; ‘Vermillion’, ‘Arc’ and ‘Pesto’. Each scarf features a vivid print of my original pastel painting set against luscious bright background such that every twist of the scarf will inject a fresh kaleidoscope of colour into your existing style. 
 
Each scarf is made from 100% pure silk and is sized 90cm x 90cm with a hand rolled finish. Each scarf is packaged in a luxurious 20cm x 20cm heavy card box finished with a black ribbon making it an ideal gift for you or a friend. 
 
Donating to the ISPCA
As a way of protecting the animals that I love, I am very proud to partner with the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals (ISPCA) to support their critical work. The role of the ISPCA is to prevent cruelty, promote animal welfare and pro-actively relieve animal suffering in Ireland. I have committed to donate €5 from the sale of every scarf directly to the ISPCA to enable customers to support Irish Design and animal welfare.
